Oliver has been involved in the sport for many years. A T850 racer at National and International Level.
Chairman and founding member of the North East Powerboat & Racing Club, his vision is to bring the sport to a wider audience and see it grow and develop in the coming years.
Brendan McCourt
Vice - President
Brendan is never far from Powerboats and is a regular on Lough Neagh. His love for Powerboats is plain to see, whether its a restoring a traditional Wooden Eel Fishing boat or enjoying a day out in a Offshore Marathon boat.
Geraldine Haire
Secretary / Equality Officer
Geraldine involvement in power-boating has taken many forms, a secretary, a race official, a timekeeper, an instructor to name a few. Interested in encouraging more young people into the sport, she sees the UIM YDP as a cornerstone of any future plans.
Arlene Mallon
Treasurer / Safeguarding
Arlene is not new to Power-boating and is often seen on Lough Neagh. She even takes part in the odd raft race for charity. Interested in the Youth development program and having access for all that wish to get involved in the Sport.
She is looking forward to seeing some International Powerboat racing on Irelands largest Lough.
Phillip Fitzgibbon
Board Member / Technical Officer / Offshore Racing
Phillip is an active offshore marathon racer and holder of many UIM World Records. From Co Kerry, he grew up with the wild Atlantic as his playground. One of his early goals was to set a Round Ireland Powerboat Record, something he has now done 3 times.
As a UIM Technical Officer he oversees the Technical side of the PBAI.
Joe Gavin
Board Member / Youth Development
Joe is a member of Lisnaskea Boat Club and is involved in all things boating, In 2018 he, along with fellow club members took their ribs to the coast and completed a circumnavigation of Ireland for charity.
He oversees the Youth Development Program
Damian McCourt
Board Member / Formula Future
Damian is a active power boater and can regularly be seen on Lough Neagh, he likes to take part in events far and wide and has travelled to Powerboat rallies through Ireland and attended racing events in Europe and further afield.

Will Chambers
Board Member / International Coach / Circuit Racing
Will is one of Irelands most successful Circuit Powerboat Racers having won various UIM World and Europeans Championship medals.
The only Irish Driver ever to compete in UIM Formula 1
From Fermanagh and a member of Lisnaskea Boat Club he continues to represent Ireland at International level.
Denis Dillon
Board Member / UIM Liaison / Pleasure Navigation / Rib Racing
Denis is passionate about the sport and has raced both circuit and offshore at National & International level. Currently a UIM Board Member and member of both the UIM Offshore and Pleasure Navigation Commissions.
A UIM World Long Distance record holder he would like to see the growth and development of Ribs and Rib Racing.
Claire Toohey
Training Officer / Women on the Water Program
Claire has been involved in the sport for many years. A UIM Senior Trainer within the UIM Education and Trainings Dept, Claire has carried out Training at National and International Level. She has been at the forefront of the E1 Pilot Academy and UIM Instructor training. She is active in encouraging women of all ages to get involved and see what the sport has to offer.
Charlotte Doolin
PWC / Motorsurf Development
Charlotte is involved in the Water-sports industry on a daily basis and has qualification in its many aspects, Diving, PWC, Powerboating, etc.
As a qualified UIM Powerboat / PWC Instructor she assists the Training Officer with all things PWC and Motorsurf.
Her vision is to bring the sport of PWC / Motorsurf use and racing to a wider audience and see it grow and develop in the coming years.
